Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was upset after actor Karthi's statement on Tirupati Laddu. After this, Karthi also apologized, which Pawan Kalyan accepted, and wished him all the best for his upcoming film Meyazhagan. Also, he tagged superstar Suriya in this post.

Suriya also responded to this post shortly after and thanked Pawan Kalyan for his wishes. However, he did not write anything about the issue between Karthi and Pawan Kalyan. Suriya wrote in response to the post, "Thank you for your warm wishes, sir!" Karthi also responded to Pawan's post and thanked him for his wishes.

It is worth noting that during the promotional event of the upcoming film, Meyazhagan/Satyam Sundaram, when Karthi was asked to comment on the claims of using animal fat in making Tirupati laddus, the actor tried to avoid the question by calling it a sensitive issue. However, during this, he laughed. Pawan Kalyan did not like this and he strictly instructed the actor. While talking to the press, he reprimanded Karthi for his behavior. After this, Karthi formally apologized to him on X.
