Pakistan: Shahbaz government again insulted at international level, now IMF told Pak PM's claim as lie

Pakistan's Shahbaz government has been insulted many times at the international level for its wrong claims. Meanwhile, today once again the Government of Pakistan has to be embarrassed. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Sunday rejected the claim of Pakistan's Prime Minister's Office, which said that IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva called the Pak PM. The IMF said that this claim of the Government of Pakistan is wrong because Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself had requested this dialogue.

Shahbaz had requested

The local representative of the IMF, Esther Peres, said in an interview with a newspaper that the Prime Minister of Pakistan had asked for talks to discuss the international conference on Pakistan. Let us tell you that in an official handout released by Prime Minister Shahbaz's office on Friday itself, it was said that the Managing Director of IMF had called Shahbaz. During a speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz also claimed that the Managing Director of the IMF had approached him.

Pak is still not deterred by arrogance

Pakistan is on the verge of bankruptcy, yet its government is unwilling to mend its ways and continues to boast. Pakistan's condition has become so bad that it has only $ 4.5 billion in foreign exchange reserves. These stocks are sufficient only for three weeks of imports. At the same time, Pakistan's debt repayment is $ 8.5 billion. This includes $2 billion to the UAE, for which the government is trying to get a rollover.

Relations with IMF may deteriorate

Explain that such factually incorrect statements can create more problems for Pakistan in persuading the IMF to help it, especially when there is a long history of mistrust between the two sides. Pakistan has already been in a difficult relationship with the IMF for a long time due to its erroneous promises to repay the loan, but now it could be in for more trouble.
