On the size of the budget presented for the financial year 2023-24, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this budget reflects the development of the state's economy in the last six years. He said that before 2017 the size of the budget was three lakh 40 thousand crores whereas this time we have presented a budget of Rs 6 lakh 90 thousand crores. Targeting the SP, he said that you had made UP a sick state, and we will make it the biggest economy of the country in the next five years. You raised mafias in the state and forced the state to go backward on the scale of development.
Targeting the absence of the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Akhilesh Yadav, said that there are two ways in front of every problem. Run away for a solution or run away only after seeing the problem. Just as the chair of the Leader of the Opposition (Akhilesh Yadav) is vacant now, similarly the previous government of the state used to run away from the problems.
The ruling party claims, a better budget than this has not been made to date

Referring to law and order, SP MLC Swami Prasad Maurya said that no action has been taken against those who attacked him and threatened to kill him.

On this, Vidyasagar Sonkar said that every class has been taken care of in the budget. The opposition is not visible. BJP's Arun Pathak said that the government has continuously worked to improve the quality of education.
