Parshuram Pandey, Regional Manager of Roadways Varanasi region, said that the annual income of the year 2024 was Rs 30 crore 76 lakh 22 thousand. In the 45 days of this Mahakumbh, an income of Rs 38 crore 76 lakh was earned.
In the year 2024, 24 lakh 42 thousand passengers travelled, in this Mahakumbh 29 lakh two thousand passengers travelled. The highest number of passengers traveled from Varanasi rural depot, 5.50 lakh, and the income was also Rs 7.41 crore.
Cantt depot carried 3.23 lakh passengers and earned Rs 5.13 crore. Kashi depot carried 3.40 lakh passengers and earned Rs 5.81 crore. Along with this, Chandauli depot's income was Rs 2.45 crore, and 1.86 lakh passengers traveled.
Gazipur depot carried 3.14 lakh passengers and earned Rs 4.55 crore. Jaunpur's income was Rs 5.63 crore and 5.33 lakh passengers travelled. Sonbhadra depot carried 3.41 lakh passengers and earned Rs 4.37 crore. Vindhyanagar depot's income was Rs 3.39 crore and 2.15 lakh passengers travelled.
