Pakistan Smuggling Uranium: Packet recovered at UK's Heathrow Airport; There has been an allegation of selling the technology of nuclear weapons

All the major intelligence agencies of the world including America, Britain, and Israel were troubled by a piece of news that came on Wednesday. A UK newspaper 'The Sun' report has revealed that a packet of uranium has been recovered from Heathrow, one of the world's largest and busiest airports. This packet was prepared in Pakistan and reached London via several countries.

Britain's intelligence agency MI 6 and Scotland Yard Police have not officially said anything about this. Pakistan has already been accused of smuggling technology and parts of nuclear weapons.

Investigation handed over to three agencies

According to the report of 'The Sun', the incident took place on 29 December. Then a flight arrived from Oman at London's Heathrow Airport. Received a packet from this flight. It contained uranium. The border security staff present at the airport intercepted the packet and then informed Scotland Yard and intelligence agencies about it.

According to Scotland Yard, a special team of the Counter Terrorism Department has been assigned to investigate the matter. Other investigative agencies will help this team. The packet was detected during routine checking. Uranium was found in it during the investigation.

According to the report, this packet was sent from Pakistan to Oman. From there it was brought to London. This packet was to be delivered to an Iranian businessman in London. Because of the seriousness of the matter, the investigating agencies refused to divulge anything about it.

unanswered questions

Border Force Commander Richard Smith said- I just want to tell the common people that they do not need to be afraid or worried. The quantity of uranium in the packet was less. There was no danger of radiation from this. Our investigation is on.

There is no danger at present. Nothing more can be said now.

Well, two questions are on everyone's lips. First- Who sent this packet from Pakistan and why did it reach Oman first? Second- Who is that Iranian businessman in London, to whom this packet was to be handed over?

Apart from this, the investigating agencies are also not ready to tell whether this packet has been recovered from any person or was kept in any luggage. If it was in the luggage then who was the owner of that luggage in the passenger plane? Britain's Home Ministry has refused to say anything about this.

America caught theft three years ago

In January 2020, US investigative agencies named five citizens of Pakistan on charges of nuclear technology and smuggling. Of these, only one lived in Pakistan, while four lived in other countries. Two people were living in Canada, one in Hong Kong, one in Britain, and one in Pakistan. The information about whether these five were arrested or not has not been revealed till now.

American investigative agencies found during the investigation that these people formed a fake company named Business World to smuggle atomic technology. After this, without obtaining a license, they started smuggling atomic technology and nuclear plants illegally.

stolen atom bomb

Pakistan is the only Muslim country having nuclear power, but how did it get this power? There are many question marks on this. Abdul Qadir Khan, who was born in Bhopal and later acquired citizenship in Pakistan, is considered the father of the atom bomb of Pakistan.

It is alleged that Qadir stole its technology while working in a lab in Canada. After that, he went to Sweden and then reached Pakistan from there. Qadir is said to have earned millions of dollars by selling this technology to countries like Iran, Libya, and North Korea.

When Qadir's truth was revealed to the world, he was imprisoned in Pakistan. After being released from jail, under American pressure, Qadir was placed under house arrest forever. He died a few years back.

In 2015, when the US raised questions about the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons, the investigation began. After this investigation, five people related to weapons were dismissed. The special thing is that all these were top officers of the Pakistani army.
