There has been a major lapse in the security of the Parliament House once again. A person entered the Parliament House at around 6:30 am by jumping over the wall with the help of a tree. He reached the Garuda gate of the new Parliament House by jumping over the wall from the Rail Bhavan side. The security personnel present in the Parliament House have caught the accused, and he is being questioned. According to news agency PTI, a Delhi Police official has confirmed the matter.

In August 2024 also, a case of lapse in the security of the new Parliament House of the country had come to the fore. A young man jumped into the premises of the Parliament House by jumping over the wall from the Red Cross Road side. However, the security personnel deployed at the security caught him before he could enter the Parliament House. After the initial investigation, a young man named Imtiaz Ali was said to be mentally weak. All the security agencies of the country including Delhi Police and Intelligence Department, had jointly interrogated the youth. After this case of lapse in the security of Parliament, there was chaos in the security agencies of the country, including the Delhi Police.
A case of lapse in security had also come to the fore in December 2023
In December 2023 also, a major lapse was seen in the security of the Parliament House. Two suspects broke the security cordon and jumped from the visitor gallery in the Lok Sabha. During the proceedings of Parliament, both men climbed on the bench and started jumping. After which, there was an atmosphere of chaos there. The security personnel rushed in a hurry and both the accused were caught. The MPs surrounded both men. The marshals engaged in the security of the Lok Sabha also immediately ran, and both were taken under control.
