The condition of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan is stable now. His operation lasted an hour and a half. There were some fragments of the bullet stuck in the leg, which have been removed. According to Dr. Faizal of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, his leg bone tibia has been cut from the right side due to the bullet.
On the other hand, protests are taking place across the country against the attack. Late on Thursday night, the fierce protesters of the party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were seen marching by jamming the streets. There was arson and sloganeering in many places.
A total of 13 people, including his MP Faisal Javed, were injured in the attack on Khan during the Long March in Gujranwala on Thursday. One person died. After the attack, Imran said that Allah has given him a new life. Inshallah, we will come back again and continue our fight.

1. Why is Imran taking out the Long March?
Imran had started a long march on 28 October demanding the resignation of the Shahbaz Sharif government and the immediate general election. Since the beginning of this long march, three people, including a woman journalist, have died due to different reasons. In May too, Imran had taken out a long march and during that time there was tremendous violence.
2. When and where did the attack happen?
Imran Khan's march reached Gujranwala on Thursday. Here they were rallying. They were moving forward with some leaders greeting them on the roof of the container. Then in the evening, a person fired several shots at him.
3. Where did Imran get shot?
The former PM was injured in the firing. He was shot in the leg. There is no official statement yet about how many shots were fired. In the first media reports, 3 to 4 and now two bullets are coming to the fore.
4. Who was the attacker and what did he want?
He was arrested by the security personnel after the attack. The police have not yet given information about his exact name. In some reports, his name has been mentioned as Faisal and in some as Javed Iqbal.
Here, a video has surfaced after the incident, in which the attacker is trying to escape from the crowd with weapons. Although a man caught him from behind, he started running away from him, and the security personnel present on the spot caught the attacker immediately.
5. The attacker said – was angry with the DJ playing during the azaan
Many senior journalists in Pakistan have shared the video of the statement given in police custody of this attacker. In this, the accused said that he had come alone to attack. He wanted to kill Imran because the deck (DJ) kept ringing even during the azaan in Khan's long march. The police have not officially given any information about this till now.
6. Claim- PM, Home Minister, and senior military officers involved in the attack
PTI Secretary General Asad Umar on Thursday claimed that party president Imran Khan suspects Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Home Minister Rana Sanaullah, and a senior military officer official behind the attempt to assassinate him.
7. 11 bullet shells were found at the scene
A police officer said – 11 bullet shells have been found at the spot. Of these, 9 were pistol bullet shells and two were bullet shells of a big gun. He said – Pistol bullets were fired from the ground towards the container, while the big gun was fired from the container on the ground. At the same time, PTI leaders say that the attack was done with an AK-47.

Imran Khan, who was injured after being shot in March, waved to his supporters before going to the hospital. After this, he was sent to the hospital under the siege of security personnel and supporters.
