COVID-19 Cases: Corona gained momentum in the country, active cases increased to 2997, with one death in Kerala

Corona infection seems to be gaining momentum in the country. On Friday, 640 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country. After this, the total number of active Corona patients in the country increased to 2997. The Union Health Ministry has released these figures. Another patient has died due to Corona in Kerala. Let us tell you that on Thursday, three people died in Kerala, two in Karnataka, and one in Punjab due to a coronavirus infection. The infection rate in the country is currently 1.19 percent.

 

265 cases were reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours

Let us inform you that on Thursday, 358 new active cases of Corona were reported across the country. Of these, 300 cases were found in the state of Kerala alone. On Thursday, the total number of active cases of Corona across the country was 2669, which increased to 2997 on Friday. In the last 24 hours, 265 new cases have been reported in Kerala, after which the total cases in the state have increased to 2606. Whereas in Karnataka, total cases have increased by 13 to 105.

Corona cases are increasing in these states

8 new active cases of Corona have been found in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, after which the total active cases in the state have increased to 53. There are 32 active corona patients in Gujarat, 16 in Goa, 104 in Tamil Nadu, and 19 in Telangana. However, state governments say that there is no need to panic and health services are ready to deal with the situation. However, people have been appealed to wear masks in public places and it has been said that they must consult a doctor as soon as symptoms of the disease appear.

 

The total number of patients infected with Corona in the country has reached 4,50,07,212. The death toll from Corona is 5,33,328. This figure is till 8 am on Friday. The number of people who have recovered after defeating Corona is 4,44,70,887 and the recovery rate is 98.81 percent. According to the Health Ministry, so far 220.67 crore people have been vaccinated with Corona vaccine in the country.
