The dress in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen worshiping at Kedarnath is hand-crafted by a woman from Chamba, Himachal Pradesh.

 

Recently, during a visit to Himachal Pradesh, the woman gifted the Prime Minister a Chola-Dora dress. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised that he will wear this garment when he goes to any important place.

 

On Friday, the Prime Minister arrived wearing the Chola Dora, a hand-crafted dress made by the women of Himachal Pradesh, and in this dress, he also worshiped in the Kedarnath temple for about half an hour.

 

Chola Dora is special in Himachal

The dress of Himachal Pradesh is very unique in itself. There is a Chola made by hand which is also called Chola-Dora, or 'Cholu'. This costume is very attractive and world-famous. It looks very beautiful on women. The second coat of clothing or clothing is the Chola, a long coat made entirely of wool.

Passenger buses stopped at Pandukeshwar and Govindghat

 

Gopeshwar: The police administration is alert about the traffic arrangements in Badrinath Dham regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Badrinath on Friday. On Thursday, the police and administration stopped big vehicles in Pandukeshwar itself. However, passengers were allowed to go to Badrinath by taxi. Arrangements have also been made to accommodate the passengers in Gurudwara and local hotels.

 

There should be no jam situation in Badrinath Dham

Police stopped big vehicles in Pandukeshwar and Govindghat on Thursday evening. The intention is that there should be no traffic jams in Badrinath Dham due to heavy vehicles.

 

In Pandukeshwar, the vehicles were brought back after sending the passengers to Badrinath Dham by vehicles like Bolero, Max, Sumo, etc. The travelers who wanted to stay here were arranged to stay in local hotels including Govindghat Gurdwara. Big vehicles were stopped at Pandukeshwar and Govindghat only.
