Corona cases have started to increase rapidly once again during winter and the festive season. Lockdown in Garhmukteshwar, U.P. from 25 to 30 November
The lockdown has been imposed from November 25 to 30 at Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district of UP. However, the lockdown is not taken here due to more corona cases, but to prevent mobilization of people along the Ganges. Every year lakhs of devotees gather for bathing the Ganges on Kartik Purnima in Garhmukteshwar. This time the local administration has taken this decision because of the huge crowd due to Corona. Only vehicles coming for the wedding will be exempted here. In districts like Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, West UP, a letter has been sent to stop devotees. At the same time, barricading is being done on the border of Meerut, Bulandshahar, Noida, and Ghaziabad, due to which a large number of devotees could not come. Section 144 has been imposed in the Hapur district. According to police sources, those coming for deep donations can be exempted. It is being told that 50 lakh people from different states come here for bathing the Ganges. This time, Kartik Purnima is on 30 November.
57-hour curfew in Ahmedabad
It has been decided to impose a 57-hour curfew under the corporation limits from Friday to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. Because of the prevailing situation, the Gujarat government has stopped its decision to open secondary schools and colleges in the state from 23 November. Officials said the curfew would start in Ahmedabad city from 9 am on Friday (November 20), which would continue till 6 am on Monday (23). Additional Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar Gupta said that only milk and drug shops would remain open during this "full curfew". Gupta had announced in the evening that the night curfew would remain in force from 9 am to 6 am daily from Friday (November 20) until further orders. However, hours later, Gupta said that a "full curfew" would apply from Friday night to Monday morning.
Strictness in Delhi

As the corona cases rise again in Madhya Pradesh, the government will review the corona related matters in a high-level meeting on Friday. State Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra told the media here that a high-level meeting at 3 o'clock in the day will review the corona related matters. In this, new decisions can be taken to curb the corona. Dr. Mishra indicated that by evening the Home Department may issue new guidelines related to Corona. It may also include guidelines related to lockdown. Corona cases have been increasing continuously in the last few days in all districts including Bhopal and Indore. Around 450 new patients were found in the capital Bhopal on Thursday. After this, there are reports of about 350 new infections again this morning.

The regional director of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that as winter draws to a close, cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly throughout West Asia. Countries need to tighten restrictions and take preventive measures to prevent large numbers of deaths. WHO's director of the eastern Mediterranean, Ahmed Al Mandhari, told reporters in Cairo that countries in the region implemented stringent lockdowns at the beginning of the year but are now lax. He said that the basic measures to avoid the epidemic - from following the social distance to applying the mask, are not being followed completely in our region and as a result, hospitals across the region are full of patients. The government has made a provision to arrest those leaving home in the areas most affected by Corona. Apart from this, leaving the city and moving to another place will also be considered a crime.
