After the peaceful completion of three phases of elections, now the eyes of the police are on the sensitive areas of the fourth phase. The police will be tightly guarded in 59 assembly constituencies of nine districts. For this, the process of reaching the Central Armed Police Force, PAC, and police personnel has started. Especially by sealing the boundaries of nine districts, instructions have been given to conduct effective checking.
The additional police force will be deployed in sensitive areas. As part of a special strategy, the police have maintained a tight vigil in such areas till now. Along with increasing the monitoring of suspicious and mischievous elements, the monitoring of internet media has also been increased. Along with taking extra vigil, the social media cells of the respective districts have been instructed to increase coordination with the social media center located at the DGP headquarters. The police are keeping an eye on all the viral messages. After the campaign is over, the activities of the candidates and their supporters are also being monitored. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar say that 800 Company Central Police will be deployed at all important places.
PAC and police personnel have also been instructed to do duty with full readiness. Detailed instructions have also been given to the police officers of the districts to maintain peace and order. Because of the incidents especially during the last elections, instructions have been given to maintaining constant communication with the local people besides taking extra vigil at sensitive places. Instructions have also been given to take every small and big incident seriously and take prompt action. In areas with a mixed population, there will be a tight guard of the police.
