Indian Army surprised the whole world by entering PoK six years ago and eliminating 50 terrorists from Pakistan. This was in retaliation for the death of 19 soldiers martyred in the attack on an army camp in Uri, Jammu, and Kashmir. It was such revenge, that to date the teeth of enemies are sour. Retired Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, who was appointed the country's new Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) on Wednesday, was also instrumental in strategizing the surgical strikes.
Actually, on 18 September 2016, terrorists attacked Uri. In this 19 soldiers were martyred. Due to this, there was tremendous anger against the terrorists and their master Pakistan in the whole country. The Government of India was also shocked and was burning in the fire of revenge. Eventually, the army planned a surgical strike and entered Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and eliminated the terrorists at home. Taught these terrorists such a lesson that their tents turned into graveyards.
The surgical strike was organized on the night of 28-29 September 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the then Defense Minister Late. Manohar Parrikar, then Army Chief Dalbir Singh Suhag, then DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, and then Chief of Northern Command Lt Gen Deepender Singh Hooda and NSA Ajit Doval.
19 soldiers were martyred in Uri, revenge was taken from 50
Four terrorists attacked the regional headquarters of the army in Uri. In this attack, 19 soldiers were martyred and 30 soldiers were injured. All four terrorists were killed in retaliation. In just 10 days, India had also entered PoK and conducted a surgical strike and destroyed the bases of the terrorists operating there. After the Uri attack, on the night of 28-29 September 2016, 125 commandos carried out the surgical strike. This action of India had shown the world that it dares to kill its enemies by entering the house.
Only seven people knew about the surgical strike
The operation of the surgical strike was so secret that only seven people knew about it. The commandos were given only two hours for the surgical operation in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Indian Air Force helicopters were monitoring this operation from a height of about 35 thousand feet in the sky. The 125 commandos belonged to the Dogra and Bihar regiments. Special Joint Para Commandos prepared from both the regiments carried out this operation in the early hours. The commandos entered PoK on foot.
The master of terror remained asleep
The Pakistani army could not get any idea of the surgical strike and its army and its rulers remained asleep. They came to know when the brave special soldiers of India had returned home after completing the work of terrorists. As soon as Pakistan came to know about it, it sent its fighter aircraft to the border, but they remained empty-handed. However, while carrying out this operation, India had also made full arrangements to deal with any challenge from Pakistan. If he had done any mischief during that time, he would have learned such a lesson that he would never have been able to look at it. After the successful surgical strike, the country saluted the brave army and everyone felt proud when the country's honor increased.
