Pakistan has agreed to send a team to the ODI World Cup to be held in India from October 5. Pakistani Foreign Office (FO) said on Sunday, Pakistan has always believed that sports should be kept separate from politics. So we have decided that we will send our team to participate in the upcoming ICC World Cup.

Pakistan team gets green signal

The FO said in his statement that the Pakistan authorities remain concerned about the security of the team in India. We are conveying these concerns to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the BCCI. We expect that full security will be ensured for the Pakistan cricket team during their tour of India.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formed the committee to decide on the team's representation in the World Cup. The committee, headed by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, decided that a security inspection team would visit India this month ahead of the World Cup. The team will visit the venues where the Pakistani team will play its matches.

Clash to be held on October 15

India and Pakistan will clash in the World Cup 2023 on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, there may be a change in the date of this great match. It is believed that this match of both the teams can be played on 14 October.

Team India invincible in ODI World Cup

The Indian team has not seen the face of defeat to date in the ODI World Cup against Pakistan. There has been a total of seven encounters between the two teams and Team India has won all seven times. India and Pakistan last met in the 50-over World Cup on English soil in 2019, when the Indian team won in a one-sided fashion.
