There has been a terrorist attack on Gurdwara Karta Parwan in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The sound of two bomb blasts was heard here at around 6 am. After the blast, a black cloud of smoke covered the sky and there was chaos all around.
Fear of explosion on Sri Guru Granth Sahib
According to reports, the entire premises of Gurdwara Dashmesh Pita Sahib Ji Karta Parwan Kabul has been set ablaze. There is a possibility of an explosion in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the main Durbar Hall of the Gurdwara.
It is being told that two explosions took place inside the premises and some shops attached to the Gurudwara caught fire. At least two attackers are believed to be inside the Gurudwara premises and efforts are on to nab them. The exact death toll is still unclear.
7-8 people feared being trapped in the gurdwara
BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that according to the information, so far 3 people have been able to come out of the Gurudwara. Two of them have been sent to the hospital. The guard of the Gurdwara, who was a Muslim, died after being shot. Three Taliban soldiers were also injured. Still, 7-8 people are feared to be trapped inside. Still firing continues.
