Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that no such thing has been said in any Indian or global study that children are being affected more. Even in the second wave, the children who got infected had only minor symptoms. Apart from this, his severity had increased due to some other diseases. Giving hope of relief, the Director of AIIMS said that I do not believe that Corona will have any serious effect on children in the future also.
At the same time, the Health Ministry says that the second wave of the corona has weakened rapidly in the last week. The Joint Secretary of the Ministry, Lav Agarwal said that the total recovery rate has increased rapidly to 94.3%. Apart from this, the positivity rate has remained only 6.3% from June 1 to 7. According to the Ministry of Health, there has been a decrease of 33 percent in new cases in the last week. Apart from this, there has also been a decrease of 65 percent inactive cases. Luv Aggarwal said that there are now 15 states in the country where the positivity rate has gone below 5 percent.
