In many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, and MP Jharkhand, the temperature has come down by up to 10 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bengal during the next 3 days. Along with this, the rain will also continue in some areas. Meanwhile, the good news is that now the rains have weakened a bit in the North-East. But during the next 5 days, there may be heavy rain in some places over Bengal and Sikkim.

Strong winds will blow in these areas

According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of strong winds over the Northeast Arabian Sea, Northern parts of Gujarat, Southwest, and Bay of Bengal. The wind speed in these areas can remain between 40 to 50 kmph. On the other hand, light to moderate rains is possible over Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.

The mercury will rise in Delhi but there will be relief from the scorching heat

 The scorching heat is currently away from Delhi. It will be partly cloudy on Wednesday as well. According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature is 36 and the minimum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius, while on Thursday the maximum temperature is 39 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius. There is a forecast of light cloud cover and intermittent roaring cloud formation activity throughout the week.

Light rain with strong winds likely in Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a cloudy sky in the mountainous areas on Wednesday. There are chances of light rain. Strong winds can also blow at some places on the plains.
