In western Uttar Pradesh, too, heavy rains ranging from 115.6 to 204.4 mm are expected on August 22 and 23.
There may be heavy rains in eastern UP from 21 to 24 August. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains for the next three days in Rajasthan as well as in the northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram.
