Tamil superstar Dalapathy Vijay has now entered the world of politics after making his acting debut. He has announced the name of his party. The actor has named his party Tamilaga Vetri Kazham. The famous actor has also revealed that he will quit acting to focus on politics after completing all his projects.

 

The actor appeared in public for the first time on Sunday, February 4, after announcing his entry into politics. Vijay also graciously took a selfie with the fans. Fans had gathered in front of the actor's house to get a glimpse of him.

 

After the meet and greet with fans, the Leo actor also gave a statement on the official page of the party, where he thanked the fans and well-wishers for supporting him in his new journey. In the statement he addressed his fans saying, 'En Nenjil Kudiyirukkam Thojargal', which roughly translates to 'Comrades who live in my heart'.

 

This statement is being considered as Vijay's party slogan, which he uses in all his public appearances. Dalpati Vijay has also thanked leaders of other political parties, friends from the film fraternity, and others who extended their support. At the same time, fans are also giving many good wishes to the actor.

 

Talking about the work front, in 2023, Vijay was seen in 'Leo' and 'Varisu'. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68. The film is being directed by Venkat Prabhu. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film. This news is going to be no less than good news for Vijay's fans. They are celebrating it a lot.
