The heat of the sun is increasing all over the country. The mercury has started rising due to the scorching sun. On Friday, the temperature was recorded at more than 40 degrees in many states including Delhi-Punjab. In some areas of Delhi, the temperature was recorded beyond 41 degrees. On Saturday too, the sun will rain fire and there will be heat stroke. The summer season will be such that the average maximum temperature will reach 41 degrees. At the same time, the mercury reached 41 degrees in Punjab on Friday. Due to the heat of the sun, the condition of the people was miserable due to the heat. Faridkot recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, now the heat wave can become more severe. The weather pattern will become hotter. The department has expressed the possibility of the temperature remaining at 41 degrees Celsius on Saturday. This weather pattern will remain till April 18. However, on April 18-19 and 20, the department expressed the possibility of light rain with dusty wind. This will not affect the temperature much. Where from April 15 to April 17, the temperature will be between 40-41 degrees while on April 19 to 20, the temperature will be between 37-38. The Meteorological Department has forecast a change in the weather from April 16 due to the effect of a new western disturbance.
Heatwave expected from today
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding the heat wave today. According to the department, there are chances of a heat wave in some places today and the maximum can be 41 degree Celsius. The department has issued a yellow alert for three days from April 16. During this, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km with strong brightness and there is a possibility of rain in some places.
Mercury may increase by 2 to 4 degrees in Kerala
