According to the Meteorological Department, due to the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal and the Western Disturbance, many parts of the country are receiving rain in October. The monsoon has still not left many parts of the country and today conditions will be favorable for the departure of the Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest and Central India in the next three to four days.
According to the latest updates from the Meteorological Department, cyclonic circulation is persisting over the Comorin region and adjoining lower troposphere levels. A cyclonic circulation is persisting in the lower troposphere levels over North Andaman Sea. It is very likely to move westwards during the next 2-3 days. When will the monsoon farewell
Regarding the change in the weather and the rains so far in October, the Meteorological Department says that still, the monsoon has not departed in many parts of the country. The forecast for the departure of the monsoon from central India is around October 15 to 16. Not that this is happening for the first time. This has been happening for the last several years. The rain that has come now or is happening in some places is due to western disturbances. The condition of Western Disturbance is persisting over some parts of the country but at the same time, the clouds have started reducing over North India.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will weaken in the next 2-3 days. Conditions are becoming favorable for the withdrawal of monsoons from most parts of the country. On September 30, the IMD announced that the monsoon has withdrawn from Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
