Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday (September 11) once again cornered the opposition over the attack on Sanatan Dharma. He said that attempts are being made to "insult" Sanatan Dharma and Rahul Gandhi, and Uddhav Thackeray are silent. The minister claimed, "The opposition is limited to insulting Sanatan Dharma. This reflects their mentality and attempts are being made one after another to insult Sanatan Dharma."

 

The BJP leader's comments come amid a political controversy after DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin held Sanatan Dharma responsible for promoting division and discrimination among people. Along with this, Udhayanidhi compared Sanatan with dengue, mosquito, malaria, or corona and talked about eliminating it.

Anurag Thakur hit back at Rahul Gandhi

Apart from this, DMK leader A Raja also compared Sanatan Dharma with diseases like leprosy and HIV. After the Sanatan controversy, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that he has read the Upanishads and Bhagavad Geeta and there is nothing Hindu in what the BJP does. This statement of Rahul, he told Anurag Thakur, "The opposition should break its silence on the insult to Sanatan Dharma."

 

Some people have the habit of spreading fear and confusion – Thakur

At the same time, when asked about Rahul Gandhi's comments on India vs India debate, Minister Anurag Thakur said that some people have the habit of "spreading fear and confusion and telling lies". He said that Rahul Gandhi has done this throughout his life.

Hitting back at Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray's statement that a "Godhra-like" incident could happen after the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, Minister Thakur claimed that some people are following their ideology in the greed for power. Have forgotten.

 

Thakur further said, "I don't know what Balasaheb, the founder of Shiv Sena, would have thought and what Uddhav ji is doing today due to his greed for power. After all this, Rahul ji and Uddhav ji did not even say a word about Sanatan Dharma. did not say." Thackeray claimed that a large number of people from across the country are expected to reach Ayodhya for the inauguration of the Ram temple.
