He said that attempts are being made to "insult" Sanatan Dharma and Rahul Gandhi, and Uddhav Thackeray are silent. The minister claimed, "The opposition is limited to insulting Sanatan Dharma. This reflects their mentality and attempts are being made one after another to insult Sanatan Dharma."
The BJP leader's comments come amid a political controversy after DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin held Sanatan Dharma responsible for promoting division and discrimination among people. Along with this, Udhayanidhi compared Sanatan with dengue, mosquito, malaria, or corona and talked about eliminating it.
