
Rains are continuing in many parts of the country. From Delhi-NCR to UP-Bihar in October, the rain is not taking its name to stop. The Meteorological Department has also issued a forecast of light to moderate rain from North India to Central India including Maharashtra, Bihar, UP, and Bengal. It is believed that it may take two-three days for the departure of Southwest Monsoon.
Talking about the weather of Delhi-NCR, there is fog in the sky on Wednesday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi will remain cloudy. Light rain is expected in some places. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 31 and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of India in the coming few days. Conditions have become favorable for the withdrawal of Monsoon into some parts of Northwest and Central India during the next four to five days. Heavy rains are very likely to continue over Tamil Nadu during the next five days and over Karnataka for the next two days.
Rain is expected in these states today
According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on October 12, 2022, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Northeast India There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with isolated thunderstorms and strong wind at isolated places over Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya. IMD has issued yellow alerts in 24 states.
Rain is expected in UP today
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in most districts of Uttar Pradesh today i.e. on Wednesday. Unseasonal rain continues to wreak havoc in the state for the last 3-4 days. Rivers are in spate in many districts. Various districts of Purvanchal including Awadh have been affected by the floods. In Barabanki 1000 villages are engulfed by floods, while in Bahraich, Ghaghra continues to wreak havoc. Life has come to a standstill in 300 villages.
Rainfall will continue in Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand, the sequence of snowfall and rain will continue in the hilly districts on Wednesday as well. There is a possibility of one to two rounds of heavy rain in some areas of the state till Wednesday evening. Because of this, a yellow alert has been issued for the hilly districts. Monsoon may bid farewell to the state by 14 October, according to the Meteorological Center.
Chance of rain in Himachal Pradesh
Light to moderate rain is expected at a few places in Himachal Pradesh today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the entire state today. There is no chance of rain in the state for the next five days. Snowfall is also likely in some places. Moderate and heavy rainfall in most areas of the state has got rid of the pollen coming out of pine trees. Polan has fallen to the earth due to rain.
Weather will be clear in Punjab
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is no chance of rain in Punjab till October 15. The weather will be completely clear and the day will remain dusty. With this, the day temperature will again rise, while the night temperature will fall. With this change in weather, farmers engaged in harvesting paddy will get relief as their ripe crop has been affected due to rain on Monday night and Tuesday. With no rain now, harvesting can be done easily.
Less relief from rain
According to the Meteorological Department, conditions are likely to become favorable for the withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest and Central India during the next 4-5 days. Today, a yellow alert warning has been issued for rain in more than half of the states of India. It is believed that after October 15, the rains are expected to stop.
