The ongoing political ruckus in Pakistan is not taking its name to end. There, on Monday, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif is almost certain to be elected as the 23rd Prime Minister of the country. Soon it will also be announced. Once officially elected, there will be a swearing-in ceremony. It is being told that representation of many parties will be seen in his cabinet. Meanwhile, Imran Khan, who was removed from the PM's chair through a no-confidence motion, is furious. According to the Pakistani newspaper Dawn, on Sunday, Shahbaz Sharif and PML-N leader and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi have also filed their nominations for the post of PM.
He has asked PTI supporters to oppose the new government by taking to the streets. Imran Khan and his party leaders are constantly saying that the opposition has got the full support of foreign forces in toppling his government. On Sunday night too, PTI supporters protested against the removal of Imran Khan from power in other cities of the country including Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, and Lahore. Earlier on Saturday, a similar protest was witnessed outside the National Assembly. The people protesting had flags, banners, and posters of Imran Khan's party in their hands. A large number of women also took part in these protests. Due to this, there was heavy traffic in many places.
According to ANI, Imran Khan says that after removing him from power, the country will have to fight for its freedom once again. He also said that the people of the country have stood up every time to free themselves. This time also we have to do the same. Former Imran government minister Fawad Chaudhry has also asked people to take to the streets and protest against the new government. According to Dan, Imran Khan has said that such a protest has been seen for the first time in the history of the country. According to him, this number of lakhs of people is a witness to the fact that the country will not tolerate a government set up by a foreign power.
