Intelligence agencies have issued an alert warning that Pakistan has hatched a big conspiracy to harm India. Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Agency (ISI) has planned to blow up railway tracks with sleeper cells so that the conspiracy can be carried out in Punjab and its adjoining areas. The focus of ISI is on the tracks on which freight trains pass continuously.

A day earlier, that is, on 22 May, the army arrested a Pakistani man near the Jammu border. The army arrested a 21-year-old Pakistani near the International Border in Khur, Jammu. Kripa Nawaz, a resident of Malik Chak, entered the Akhnoor sector on the outskirts of Jammu on Saturday, officials said. He was later arrested and handed over to Khur police station on Sunday for questioning.
