After the revelations of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, Pakistan's opposition has started surrounding the government. The main opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has sought the resignation of the government after the Pandora leak. The party said that Imran Khan's name could also be in the Pandora Papers leak, before that his name had also appeared in the Toshkhana case, so Imran should resign from his post immediately.

This is the reason why he had issued an official letter to ICIJ through a legal firm not to issue the paper. The letter said the release of the documents would create a false impression about Panama.

ICIJ said on social media that they have examined 120 million documents worldwide. 600 journalists from 117 countries have participated in the investigation.
