Pandora Papers leak has created panic in the politics of Pakistan. There are 700 Pakistanis on this list. The names of family members of many ministers of the Imran Khan government are also on this list. These include Water Resources Minister Moonis Elahi, Industries Minister Khusro Bakhtiyar, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, and MP Faisal Wawda. Apart from the leaders, the names of army officers are also included in the list.
After the revelations of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, Pakistan's opposition has started surrounding the government. The main opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has sought the resignation of the government after the Pandora leak. The party said that Imran Khan's name could also be in the Pandora Papers leak, before that his name had also appeared in the Toshkhana case, so Imran should resign from his post immediately.

The Panamanian government feared that the Pandora Papers could seriously damage its image in the world. This is the reason why he had issued an official letter to ICIJ through a legal firm not to issue the paper. The letter said the release of the documents would create a false impression about Panama.

ICIJ said on social media that they have examined 120 million documents worldwide. 600 journalists from 117 countries have participated in the investigation.
