Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along, who recently hit social media over her "small-eyed" remark, said the country should stay "single" to check the population growth rate. For this, he called upon the people to join the 'Single's Movement'. Temjen Imna Along is the Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs of Nagaland. He also talked about spreading awareness about family planning on the occasion of World Population Day on Monday. During this, he also suggested this "solution".
The minister tweeted, "On the occasion of World Population Day, let us be smart about the issues of population growth and make wiser choices when it comes to having children. Or be single like me and together we contribute towards a sustainable future." Let's join the 'Single Movement' today."
