The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 83 lakh. So far 83 lakh 12 thousand 947 people have been infected. It is a matter of relief that 76 lakh 54 thousand 757 people have been cured in these, while 1 lakh 23 thousand 650 infected people have died. 5 lakh 33 thousand 27 patients are currently being treated.

 

Cases resumed in 4 states

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan told in a press conference that the number of active cases in Manipur, Delhi, Kerala, and West Bengal increased faster in November than in October. There were 2 thousand active cases in Manipur at the beginning of October which has now grown to 3500.

 

Delhi has increased from 26 thousand to 33 thousand, in Kerala from 77 thousand to 86 thousand, and in West Bengal from 26 thousand to 36 thousand active cases. To prevent this, focusing on testing, tracing, and treatment.

 

Recovery rate increased to 92%

 

Meanwhile, the recovery rate has increased to 92%. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the overall positivity rate of infection has come down from 8% to 7.4%. The weekly positivity rate has also come down from 5.2% to 4.4% and the daily positivity rate to 3.7%.

 

70% ICU Bed Filled in Private Hospitals in Delhi

According to official figures, out of 1244 ventilator ICU beds in private hospitals of the capital, 837 are full. In many hospitals, not a single bed is empty. At the same time, 1 (out of 54) in Safdarjung Hospital, 3 (out of 50) beds in the AIIMS Trauma Center are empty.

Because of the increasing cases of Covid-19, the Odisha government has also banned the purchase and sale of firecrackers. This ban will continue from 10 to 30 November. The government has also issued notifications in this regard.

The Rajasthan government has banned the purchase and sale of firecrackers in the state due to Covid-19. If someone is seen selling crackers, then he will be fined 10 thousand. A fine of 2 thousand rupees will be imposed on the crackers.

 

37 thousand infected on Monday

 

On Monday, 37 thousand 592 were found infected, 58 thousand 524 patients recovered and 497 died. This reduced 21 thousand 443 active cases in a single day. These constitute 58% of the new cases. This is the second major decline after 12 October in percentage terms. Earlier, on 26 October, there were 36 thousand 104 cases, while 28 thousand 241 active cases were reduced. This figure was 78% of new cases and the highest since October 12.

 

This was the second time after July 21, when less than 40 thousand cases came. On 21 July, 39 thousand 170 cases came. After this, on 26 October, there were 36 thousand 104 cases. After 12 October, more than 20 thousand active cases have been reduced six times.

 

4.77 lakh active cases reduced in 56 days

 

Since September 17, the number of Corona patients being treated in the country has decreased by 4.77 lakh. Then the figure was at a peak of 10.17 lakhs, now 5.40 lakhs. Then 90 to 95 thousand patients were getting daily, now this number has come down to around 40 to 50 thousand. Every 10 days, there is a reduction of about 10 thousand in new cases.

 

If the pace of the epidemic decreases in such a way, it may be that at the end of December, new cases should stop or they will come. If this happens, in the first or second week of January, the active cases will be almost non-existent. However, this is possible only when the second wave of infection does not come, efforts should be made to control it and people should take full care.

 

Situation of five states

 

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Tuesday, 667 new patients were found in the state and 912 people were recovered. So far, 1 lakh 73 thousand 384 people have been infected. Of these, 8044 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 62 thousand 366 people have been cured. So far 2974 patients have died due to infection.

 

2. Rajasthan

 

1725 new patients were found in the state in the last 24 hours. 1219 people were recovered and 10 patients died. So far, 2 lakh 2 thousand 220 people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16 thousand 385 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 83 thousand 899 people have been cured. So far 1936 patients have died from the infection.

 

3. Bihar

 

On Tuesday, 846 corona patients were found in the state, 875 people recovered and 7 infected people died. So far, 2 lakh 18 thousand 964 people have been infected. Among them, 7000 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 10 thousand 855 people have been cured. So far, 1108 people have lost their lives due to the infection.

 

4. Maharashtra

 

On Tuesday, 4909 new patients were found in the state, 6973 people recovered and 120 infected died. So far, 16 lakh 92 thousand 693 people have been infected. Among them, 1 lakh 16 thousand 593 patients are being treated, while 15 lakh 31 thousand 277 people have been cured. So far, 44 thousand 248 people have lost their lives due to infection.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Tuesday, 1726 people were found positive in the state. 2210 patients recovered and 13 died. The number of patients has now increased to 4 lakh 87 thousand 335. Of these, 22 thousand 538 patients are being treated, while 4 lakh 57 thousand 708 people have been cured. So far, 7089 people have died from Corona.
