Sainik Schools Admission: The admission process started in 10 new Sainik Schools, the first list of 485 candidates released

Sainik Schools Admission: There is good news for those seeking admission to Sainik Schools. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Monday said that the admission process in 10 newly-approved Sainik Schools has begun and the results of the first e-counseling were declared on May 21.

 

 

At least 40 percent of seats in newly approved schools will be filled by candidates who have cleared the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) this year, the ministry statement said.

 

Sainik School Society, which manages Sainik Schools in India, has released the first tentative list of 485 candidates selected for these schools.

 

Candidates had the option to select a maximum of 10 schools for allotment. Thereafter, based on the rank and preference of the students for the schools, the allocation of students to the schools was done through an automated process.

 

The information released by the Ministry of Defense said that the provisionally shortlisted candidate will have to accept the school allotment and proceed with the admission formalities. However, they can also consider the option of second-round counseling or Not Interested for further consideration. For more details visit sainikschool.ncog.gov.in and aissee.nta.nic.in.

Start of registration and selection of schools on the e-counseling portal for AISSEE qualified candidates: 08-May-2022

 

Last date of registration for AISSEE qualified candidates for e-counseling: 14-May-2022

 

The last date for selection of schools by AISSEE qualified candidates for the first round of counseling: is 14-May-2022

 

Declaration of Merit List for 1st Round of Counseling: 21-May-2022

 

Registration for the second round of counseling begins:  will be notified soon

 

Last date for selection of schools for the second round of counseling: Will be informed soon

 

Declaration of Merit List for 2nd Round of Counseling: Will be notified soon
