Chief Minister Hemant Soren informed that preparations are being made to buy about 50 thousand remdesivir injections for emergency use in the state from the pharma companies of Bangladesh. The Chief Minister has also written a letter to Union Minister of Fertilizers and Chemicals DV Sadanand Gowda in this matter.
Sharing the letter in his Twitter account late on Sunday evening, the Chief Minister said that the need for Remdesivir is being felt on a large scale because of the increasing cases of Corona in Jharkhand. He wrote that he has talked to some pharma company of Bangladesh and wants to buy 50,000 vials for emergency use from which letter has been written to the Central Government for permission.

BJP MLA Amar Kumar Bauri from Chandankiyari in the Bokaro district also tweeted and informed himself about being Corona positive. He said that on seeing some signs of malaise, he got the corona test done and his report has come out positive. While in Isolation, they are seeking the advice of doctors.
