While there is a shortage of remdesivir injection in the country. On the other hand, black marketing of remdesivir  injection is also taking place. One such insensitive case has come out from Karnataka against which the local police has taken action. A nurse has been arrested in Mysore, Karnataka, for allegedly selling salted water and antibiotics in a vial of remdesivir injection.

 

 

Demand for this life-saving medicine has increased amidst the ever-increasing cases of the corona. The Mysore Police received information about the black marketing of remdesivir injection. After this action is taken. This information has been given by the Police Commissioner of Mysore, Chandragupta.

 

 

The police came to know that the mastermind of this black marketing racket was a man named Girish, who is a nurse by profession. Police Commissioner Chandragupta said that the bottles of remdesivir from various companies were recycled and filled with antibiotics and salty and were introduced into the market. He had been doing this since 2020. We are investigating the impact of this racket and also where it has supplied its stock. is.

 

Girish has revealed that he has been doing this with his teammates since last year. His colleagues have also been detained by the police. Girish was posted as a staff nurse at JSS Hospital.
