Meanwhile, these gangsters started firing on the police, in response to which the force also took action. Two police officers have also been injured in the firing of gangsters, who have been admitted to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment.

Police sources say that the gangsters who have been surrounded by the police include Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kusa.
