You must have seen sports happening in the stadium most of the time but in Pakistan, it is being made an examination center. A video is becoming quite viral on social media. It has been claimed that sitting in the stadium of Islamabad, more than 30 thousand people have given the exam for the recruitment of police.

People who do not have jobs in Pakistan suffering from the economic crisis. In such a situation, when the examination was held for 1,167 posts for police recruitment in Islamabad, so many unemployed turned up that the entire stadium was filled with people. Candidates boys and girls took the examination sitting from the ground of the stadium to the audience gallery.

the unemployment situation in Pakistan

Pakistan's economic situation is continuously snatching employment opportunities from the youth there. According to a report by Pakistan Development Economics, 31% of the youth there do not have employment. Of these 31% people, 51% are unemployed women, while 16% of men do not have a job.

Most of these youths have good degrees. It has also been told in the report that there is absolutely no participation of youth in the labor force. Either they are people who have given up hope of getting work, or they get money from different places to live their daily life.

The economic condition of Pakistan was so bad that even the army had to appeal

The economic condition of Pakistan has reached such a critical condition that even the army there has to worry about it. On the last day of 2022, Pakistan Army Chief Syed Asim Munir appealed to all the people to save the country's economy.

the problem of Pakistan's economy

Pakistan currently has foreign exchange reserves or forex reserves of only $6.7 billion. Of this, $2.5 billion is from Saudi Arabia, $1.5 billion from UAE, and $2 billion from China. These funds are security deposits, which means the Shahbaz Sharif government cannot spend them. Secondly, Saudi and UAE can withdraw this money on 36 hours' notice. In 2019 also, the foreign reserve of Pakistan was the same.

The IMF had last month refused to release the third tranche of the $1.7 billion loan. He is asking Pakistan to increase revenue and reduce expenditure as per the conditions.

On December 8, Pakistan wrote a letter to Saudi and requested to give a loan of $ 3 billion as soon as possible. Pakistan has to pay installments of $8.8 billion in January itself. It is obvious that on one hand, it cannot empty the reserve of $6.7 billion, on the other hand, it is not getting help from other countries or organizations.
