The crimes cited by the committee include obstructing government business, betraying the United States, and aiding insurrection. Significantly, on January 6, 2021, Trump supporters entered the US Parliament Capitol Hill and created a lot of uproars. Trump's hand was said to be behind this violence. Five people were killed in the violence while over a hundred were injured.
