Former US President Donald Trump's difficulties may increase. The committee probing the Capitol Hill violence (US Capitol Riot) has recommended criminal prosecution against Donald Trump. The Investigative Committee has held Trump responsible for the attack, although it is now up to the Justice Department to decide whether to convict Trump and prosecute him. With this recommendation, certainly, the pressure on the prosecution will increase.

Trump accused of betraying America

The crimes cited by the committee include obstructing government business, betraying the United States, and aiding insurrection. Significantly, on January 6, 2021, Trump supporters entered the US Parliament Capitol Hill and created a lot of uproars. Trump's hand was said to be behind this violence. Five people were killed in the violence while over a hundred were injured.

Close members have already been recommended for trial

Former President Trump had earlier made a new move to avoid questioning in connection with the incident of violence in the US Parliament on January 6, 2021. Former President Donald Trump sued the House committee probing the January 6 attack on the US Capitol. Trump filed this lawsuit to avoid subpoenas requiring him to testify. Meanwhile, during the investigation, the committee recommended that members close to Trump be prosecuted.
