Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol gave blockbuster films like 'Gadar 2'. These days the actor is enjoying the success of the film. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol became emotional during a masterclass at the ongoing 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. At IFFI 2023, Sunny talked about his film career and recalled how after the release of 'Gadar' He had no work for so many years. The actor was also joined by his directors Anil Sharma, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Rahul Rawail.

 

When Rahul asked Sunny Deol about his Bollywood journey that started with 'Betaab' in 1983, the actor said, "I have been very lucky indeed. I get too emotional, that's my problem. I was very lucky. I started with Rahul. He gave me three beautiful films. Some worked, some did not, but people still remember those films. I am standing here because of my films.

 

Sunny Deol further said, 'Gadar' was a big hit. After this, my struggle period started, because I was not offered subjects or scripts and things were not happening. Although I did some films in between, but there was a gap of 20 years, but I did not give up. I was always moving forward. I came into films because I wanted to be an actor, not a star. I had seen my father's films and I also wanted to do films like that.

 

On this, Rajkumar Santoshi said, "I believe that the industry has not done justice to Sunny Deol's talent, but God has done justice." This statement of the director brought tears to Sunny Deol's eyes and he Got emotional. Let us tell you that Sunny has recently made a great comeback with 'Gadar 2' and with many big films, he has once again returned as a Bollywood superstar.

 

Talking about the actor's upcoming films, Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol are all set to come together after 27 years in 'Lahore 1947', which will be produced by Aamir Khan. The actor-director duo has worked together in big hits like 'Ghayal' in 1990, 'Damini' in 1993, and 'Ghatak: Lethal' in 1996.
