Delhi Capitals star batsman Karun Nair performed brilliantly in the match against Mumbai Indians. He targeted Jasprit Bumrah and scored 18 runs in a single over and completed his half-century. In this match, the 33-year-old batsman completed the 11th fifty of his IPL career in 22 balls. During the match, there was also a light argument between Bumrah and Nair, the video of which is going viral on social media.

The argument between Bumrah and Nair

This incident happened after the end of the powerplay. The sixth over was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. In this over, Karun Nair scored 18 runs with the help of two sixes, a four, and two runs. With this, Nair completed his half-century in 22 balls. After the end of this over, there was a strategic timeout and Bumrah was heard saying something to Karun Nair. When Nair was running for the last two runs, he collided with Bumrah. The fast bowler could not digest this.

Bumrah was heard saying to him that the place where you ran was my place. Karun also replied to this. However, Hardik Pandya came in between and separated the two. At the same time, Rohit Sharma is seen joking with Karun Nair through gestures. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.

Nair lashed out at Bumrah

Karun Nair, who came to play against Mumbai as an impact player, has maintained his form in domestic cricket. He had scored nine centuries in the last domestic season. In this match, Nair also thrashed Bumrah. He played a total of nine balls against the fast bowler and scored 26 runs. With this, he became the second batsman to score the most runs against Bumrah in IPL. In 2016, Shikhar Dhawan had scored 27 runs against Bumrah in 16 balls.
