However, a deep low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal can still cause rain in some states of the country. According to the weather agencies, in the next 24 hours, there may be light to heavy rains in some states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
According to Skymet Weather, Southwest Monsoon will start retreating from parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Kutch in the next 24 hours, but a low-pressure area is persisting along North Odisha and West Bengal coast. By this evening, it will turn into a deep low-pressure area and move in a northwest direction over North Odisha and West Bengal coast. Similarly, a monsoon trough extends from Ganganagar, Sikar in Rajasthan to Gwalior, Satna, Ambikapur in Madhya Pradesh, and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand to the southeast Bay of Bengal. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation remains over the central part of South Uttar Pradesh. Due to these weather systems, light to heavy rains may occur over all these states and adjoining states.

On the other hand, there was snowfall on the high peaks of Manali along with the tribal area of Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. At the same time, rain clouds rained in the capital Shimla. This has increased the cooling in the higher parts. Snowfall occurred in the hills of the CB range including Baralacha along with the snowfall in Rohtang.
