When Rahul asked Sunny Deol about his Bollywood journey that started with 'Betaab' in 1983, the actor said, "I have been very lucky indeed. I get too emotional, that's my problem. I was very lucky. I started with Rahul. He gave me three beautiful films. Some worked, some did not, but people still remember those films. I am standing here because of my films.
Sunny Deol further said, 'Gadar' was a big hit. After this, my struggle period started, because I was not offered subjects or scripts and things were not happening. Although I did some films in between, but there was a gap of 20 years, but I did not give up. I was always moving forward. I came into films because I wanted to be an actor, not a star. I had seen my father's films and I also wanted to do films like that.
On this, Rajkumar Santoshi said, "I believe that the industry has not done justice to Sunny Deol's talent, but God has done justice." This statement of the director brought tears to Sunny Deol's eyes and he Got emotional.
