Weather Report, IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update Today: Monsoon activities have remained in many parts of the country and for two to three days, heavy rains are going to wreak havoc in many states including UP, Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and East Madhya Pradesh will receive heavy rains for the next two to three days. Behind this is a low-pressure area over Odisha and West Bengal.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 24 states for today i.e. Wednesday. Talking about the weather in and around Delhi, it will be cloudy here for the next few days. Rain is expected in some areas. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature is expected to be 34.7 degrees while the minimum temperature is expected to be 24.6 degrees.
Heavy to very heavy rain will occur in these 10 states
According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in parts of UP, Uttarakhand, Arunachal, Assam, Manipur, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra on Wednesday. In these states, there will be rain with thunder and lightning.
Light to moderate rain likely in these 14 states
According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on Wednesday, light to moderate thundershowers will occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Haryana, parts of Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, West, Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Kerala. it might rain. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in some states.
Heavy rain is expected in many districts of Uttar Pradesh
The movement of clouds has been made in Uttar Pradesh for the last three days, but the clouds are disappearing after sporadic rains. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, till September 26, almost all the districts of East Uttar Pradesh along with Western Uttar Pradesh may receive light to moderate rains. The Meteorological Department issued an alert of heavy rain in many districts of Purvanchal on Wednesday.
Heavy rain alert for three days in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of rain for the next 4 days. In mountainous areas, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms or lightning in some places. On September 21, heavy rain has been warned at isolated places in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Nainital, and Champawat of Uttarakhand state. On September 22, a warning of heavy rain was issued in Dehradun, Tehri, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. On 23 and 24 September, there was a possibility of strong showers in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand state.
