With the onset of monsoon, most of the states of the country are receiving heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 15 states including Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha today i.e. on Tuesday 27 September 2022. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur over these states. Heavy rain is expected in some places.
On the other hand, Delhi and adjoining areas will remain partly cloudy on Tuesday. There is no chance of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 34 and 23 degree Celsius respectively. At the same time, due to rain and snowfall in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, winters have started. In Himachal Pradesh also 7 people have died due to rain and landslides.
Heavy rain is expected in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, on Tuesday, September 27, light with a strong wind in some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Maharashtra. Moderate to moderate rain is possible. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in some states. IMD has issued a yellow alert in these 15 states.
Monsoon is likely to return by the end of this week
Southwest Monsoon is likely to retreat from Delhi and adjoining areas by the end of this week. That is, the return of the monsoon will start. The Meteorological Department said that due to the establishment of an anti-cyclone over southwest Rajasthan, north-westerly winds will move over Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, which will reduce the moisture content in the atmosphere. According to Skymet Weather, conditions will become favorable for the withdrawal of the monsoon in the next two-three days. We expect the monsoon to retreat from Delhi from 30 September to 1 October.
How will the weather be for the next three days, where will it rain
According to the Meteorological Department, light and moderate rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam from 27th to 30th and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from 26-28th September. Apart from this, the IMD has informed us that on the 28th there may be rain in Assam and Meghalaya. On 29th and 30th September 2022, scattered and moderate rain and thundershowers may occur over many areas of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The IMD has said in its daily report that during the next 3 to 4 days, the southwest monsoon may withdraw from some more parts of Northwest India and some parts of Central India. Apart from this, the IMD has predicted that heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during the next 3 days. On September 27, rain is also expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
Leh-Manali road closed due to snowfall in Ladakh

Landslide in Himachal, rain likely at some places
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear at most places in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. It may rain in some places. On Monday, seven people, including four girls, died in Himachal's Sirmaur due to heavy rains and landslides at their house. These include the couple, three daughters, and a niece. Apart from this, one person has also died due to a flood in Nauhradhar. Earlier, a landslide occurred in the Shillai sub-division on Sunday night.
