There is a possibility of rain in Delhi, Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and Madhya Pradesh.
Apart from Delhi, the Meteorological Department has once again issued a rain alert for many more states including UP, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, till July 31, heavy rain has been predicted in the plains of Northwest India.
How will the weather be in Delhi and its surrounding areas?
The Meteorological Department has predicted a generally cloudy sky and thundershowers in Delhi and its adjoining areas on Saturday. An IMD official has said that the maximum temperature is 33 and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department had earlier said that the 'Monsoon Trough' or low-pressure area is likely to continue moving northwards gradually and due to this, rain activities may intensify in North India from Wednesday.

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain in Uttarakhand for the next few days. An orange alert has been issued for the state. A heavy rain alert has been issued for Dehradun, Nainital, Tehri, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat, and Bageshwar, Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.
People helpless due to rain in Jammu and Kashmir
