Aishwarya Rai won the Best Actress (Critics) award in the lead role at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA 2024). She was given this award for Ponniyin Selvan 2. In this film, she played a double role (Nandini and Mandakini Devi). Aishwarya Rai was also heard giving a speech on this special occasion. Aishwarya also met actor Vikram, with whom she worked in Ponniyin Selvan. Vikram also took a picture with Aishwarya and Aaradhya.
