A two-judge bench of the Supreme Court, Justice Ujjwal Bhuyan and Justice Manmohan said that you cannot stop people from watching the film by putting a gun on their head. The rule of law should be established in the country.

1 day was given to the Karnataka government

The Supreme Court has given 1 day's time to the Karnataka government to give information related to the release of the film. The court says that if a movie has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), then it should be released in all the states.

What did the Supreme Court say?

Reacting to Kamal Haasan's controversial statement, the Supreme Court said, "If Kamal Haasan has said something inappropriate, it doesn't need to be true. Let the people of Karnataka think about it."

Displeasure expressed with Karnataka High Court.

The Supreme Court has also expressed displeasure over the decision of Karnataka High Court. The High Court had rejected Kamal Haasan's apology and reprimanded him, to which the Supreme Court has objected. The Supreme Court said, "It is not your job to seek apology."
