At 5:30 am on December 27, visibility of 50 meters was recorded in Safdarjung and 125 meters in Palam.
The temperature in the national capital has dropped to about seven degrees. Some trains to and from New Delhi were also delayed due to fog and low visibility. More than 30 flights have been affected due to fog in Delhi.

According to the Regional Meteorological Department Centre, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 23.8 degrees on Tuesday, which is three degrees more than normal. The minimum temperature was seven degrees, which is one degree less than normal.
A change in wind direction is expected on Wednesday. There is a possibility that icy wind may blow from the north-westerly direction. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Wednesday.
According to the department, the sky will be clear during the day. There may be very dense fog in many places in the morning. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be around seven degrees Celsius. According to the department, the day temperature will drop due to cold wind.
It is expected that there will be fog in the morning in Delhi till January 1. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded in Mungeshpur on Tuesday was 6.4 degrees Celsius, which was the coldest among other areas. Lodhi Road stood second with 7 degrees Celsius.
