Weather Update Today: Due to snowfall in the hilly areas, cold has started increasing in the plains as well. With the drop in temperature, dense fog has also started appearing. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many states of the plains today.

 

Badra will rain in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of drizzle in Delhi-NCR today, due to which the temperature may fall further. Today's minimum temperature may drop to 5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 23 degrees.

 

Dense fog in UP

With the change in weather, dense fog has also started appearing in UP. Today, dense fog along with cold waves was seen in Meerut and Aligarh.

 

Temperature will increase in many cities of Bihar

There are chances of an increase in temperature in many cities of Bihar. This may reduce the cold for the next 4 days. However, there will be dense fog here, which will also reduce visibility.

 

Drinking water pipes froze due to cold in Himachal

In many cities of Himachal, it is getting so cold that even drinking water has frozen. In Lahaul Valley, the drinking water pipe itself froze in the cold. Villagers are forced to fetch water from several meters away.
