Monsoon is approaching, but still, many days are left for it to be completely gone. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in many states till September 30. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Odisha from October 1. The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert in 9 states of the country including Odisha, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh on Thursday i.e. 29 September. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some states today.

 

According to Skymet Weather, a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over central parts of Pakistan. Another cyclonic circulation lies over the northwest and adjoining the west-central Bay of Bengal. With this effect, light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Northeast India, West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Gujarat on Thursday.

 

Light rain is possible over Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. Talking about Delhi-NCR, the Meteorological Department says that now there is less chance of rain in the coming days. However, the sky will remain cloudy in the capital Delhi and NCR.

 

Yellow alert for heavy rain in these states today

 

According to the Meteorological Department, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, parts of Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, heavy rain warning has been issued in parts of Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 9 states of the country.

 

Heavy rain warning in Odisha

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of Odisha on Thursday. At the same time, from October 1, rain activities may increase further. The Meteorological Department said that due to cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal and neighboring areas, there will be an increase in rain activities from October 1. HR Biswas, Director, Regional Meteorological Center said thunderstorm and lightning activities would continue over the entire coastal region along with Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundergarh districts in the next 24 hours.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

 

Monsoon will depart from Delhi-NCR in 1-2 days, but even after this, there will be rain in Delhi and surrounding areas. According to meteorologists, this rain will also be at a good level for several consecutive days. The reason for this is Ian Storm. According to Skymet Weather, the Ian storm, which rose from the South China Sea, is affecting many countries of the world. Meteorologists said that from October two to three, due to this storm, a low-pressure area will form in the Bay of Bengal. After this, many weather systems will develop even further. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain not only in Delhi-NCR but also in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan.

 

No chance of rain in UP

 

At the same time, the Meteorological Department says that there is no possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. Monsoon has returned in UP. However, there is a possibility of light rain and a cloudy sky in some areas.

 

Monsoon will return in 3-4 days

 

According to the Meteorological Department, conditions have become favorable for the withdrawal of monsoon from some parts of central India including Northwest India during the next 3-4 days and now monsoon will return from these states. Meanwhile, rain activities can also be seen in many states.
