India's run-machine Virat Kohli scored his 52nd career century in the first ODI against South Africa in Ranchi on Sunday. Kohli scored 135 runs off 120 balls, hitting 11 fours and seven sixes.

Rohit Sharma's reaction to Virat Kohli's century went viral on social media. Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh revealed what Rohit Sharma actually said, which was also posted by IPL franchise Punjab Kings.

What Arshdeep Singh said

I've received several messages asking what Rohit Sharma said after Virat Kohli's century. So, let me tell you what he said. Rohit said, "Blue fairy, red fairy, locked in a room, I like Nadia." - Arshdeep Singh.

Century's partnership with Rohit

Arshdeep jokingly quoted Rohit Sharma, which is not entirely true. In fact, it's not appropriate to publicly share what Rohit Sharma said. However, looking back at the match, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli shared a century partnership of 136 runs for the second wicket.

Rohit Sharma scored 57 runs in 51 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes. During this, Rohit set the world record for hitting the most sixes in ODIs. Kohli also broke a series of records by scoring a century.

India took the lead

Riding on the innings of Rohit Sharma (57), Virat Kohli (135), and captain KL Rahul (60), India scored 349 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. South Africa made a strong fightback but was all out for 332 runs in 49.2 overs.

Thus, India won the match by 17 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second match of the series between the two teams will be played in Raipur on Wednesday.
