Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said this in his address during a program on Wednesday. He said that India is moving towards development by rising above consumerism. It is noteworthy that a National Conclave was organized in the capital Delhi regarding Startups. It was addressed by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He said that in the last eight years the startup ecosystem of the country has made a real journey of growth. During this journey, India has risen above the idea of a technology consumer. Today India is becoming a technology generator from a technology consumer.
He said that countries like Japan, Germany, and France had the best trains in the world. The project was also started in India under the leadership of PM Modi for that kind of train project. PM Modi asked the engineers and experts of his country to manufacture world-class trains in India. After which a train like Vande Bharat was built in India. During this, he stressed the development of the field of technology and said that today India is becoming stronger and more self-reliant than before.
The digital economy will have more than one crore jobs in two years: Vaishnav
The government has set a target of taking the employment figure to one crore in two years in three sectors of the digital economy. These sectors include startups, electronics, and IT and IT-enabled services. IT and Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a program on Wednesday, these three big pillars of the digital economy have created 88-90 lakh jobs. He said, earlier some cities were mentioned for startups. Now when I go to school in villages, the children there want to set up startups. This change has come. India is now becoming a technology producer from a technology consumer. Software Technology Park of India is providing all facilities for Startups.
