Air India: Dubai-Cochin plane made an emergency landing in Mumbai, an alternate plane reached Cochin with 180 passengers

An alternate flight carrying 180 passengers of a Dubai-Cochin flight that was diverted to Mumbai due to low cabin pressure landed at the Cochin International Airport on Friday morning.

 

 

An alternate aircraft AI 1681 BOM-COK carrying passengers of the Dubai-Cochin flight which took off from Mumbai landed at Cochin International Airport at around 4:33 am on Friday. According to Air India, another plane will reach Cochin with the remaining passengers.

 

 

Let us tell you that an Air India flight from Dubai to Cochin was diverted towards Mumbai on Thursday due to low cabin pressure. According to news agency ANI, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued orders to investigate the incident.

 

A senior DGCA official said that the captain of the Air India Boeing fleet aircraft of flight AI-934 between Dubai-Cochin had informed the IOCC (Integrated Operations Control Centre) about the loss of pressure in the aircraft, after which The aircraft was diverted to Mumbai. The plane made a safe landing in Mumbai.

 

He has informed us that two senior officers of DAS WR have been assigned the task of conducting the preliminary inquiry. He has also told that a detailed inquiry has also been ordered in this matter.
