Corona updates

The Bengal government has issued a new guideline for air passengers coming from other states. Accordingly, it will be mandatory for people coming from Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, and Telangana to bring negative RT-PCR reports. This report should not be more than 72 hours before the flight departure.

Because of the increasing cases of corona, there will be a public curfew on 27 and 28 February in Latur, Maharashtra. Between 7 and 15 February, 261 cases of corona were recorded in Latur. At the same time, more than 300 cases have been reported here in the last week. Subsequently, the administration decided on a Janata curfew.

Director of Delhi AIIMS, Dr. Randeep Guleria has said that there is no need to panic with Corona's new strain. Our vaccines are 70%, 80%, 90% effective. Even if there is a slight decrease in their effect, they will still work. This will reduce serious illness and deaths from it.

Because of the increasing cases of corona in the country, the Delhi government has been alerted. Now people coming to Delhi from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Punjab will get entry in Delhi only after showing negative RT-PCR. The rule will remain in force from 27 February to 15 March.

Second phase of vaccination from March 1

The second phase of Corona vaccination in the country will start from 1 March. Vaccination will be done in 10 thousand government centers and 20 thousand private hospitals. There will be vaccination of sick people above 45 years and all people above 60 years. If people of this age group go to government centers, then the vaccine will be free for them, but in private hospitals, they will have to pay for it.

Javadekar said that these vaccinations will be free at government centers, but those who want to get vaccinated in private hospitals will have to pay a charge. In the next 3-4 days, the Ministry of Health will decide on how much fees will have to be paid for vaccination in private hospitals. The Ministry of Health is talking to manufacturers and hospitals in this regard.
