The 24 states and union territories of the country are vulnerable to corona infection. According to the data released by the state governments, the number of infected has reached 588 as of Wednesday morning, so far 11 people have lost their lives. However, the central government has so far reported 562 positive and 512 active cases in the country. A 54-year-old infected patient succumbed during treatment in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Corona has the highest number of 112 cases in Maharashtra, while Kerala (109) is second. The lockdown will remain in all states from Tuesday midnight for the next 21 days.
